Graduate Programme starts
Anyone who is graduating in Sweden with relevant education, such as: computer science, engineering, interaction design or equivalent. We believe you are either graduating the summer of 2020 or during the past year.
You will receive your job offer latest during week 25.
You will be employed by IKEA IT AB. During the first 8 months of the programme, the working location will be in Älmhult, Sweden.
You will receive a permanent employment contract.
You will have the job title Trainee.
The target date for employment start is 1 October 2020.
During your first 8 months (October-May) you will spend 80% learning, such as Bootcamps, Front-weeks in the business, online learnings, classroom trainings etc. and 20% of your time with hands-on assignments.
The assignment will depend on what part of the business you belong to as well as your individual preference. Each On-the-job assignment builds on this newly acquired knowledge, providing a platform where you can gain practice and stretch, to expand your confidence.
You will report both to a Graduate Leader and the Hiring Manager. You will also be in close contact with a Buddy in the team. Along the way you will also have contact with a Mentor.
You will get to learn the business of IKEA, IKEA as a company, different parts. Get a good overview of different areas of Group Digital. You will get to learn about yourself, when it comes to values and leadership. An individual learning plan based on your experiences and motivation. Hands-on Bootcamps that will take you from a theoretical approach to a hands-on approach.
We follow the Swedish calendar and holidays. We plan break periods where you can take vacations during Christmas (W 52, W01), Winter Break (W 8), Easter break (W13) and Summer Break (W28-32).

We are looking for several Data Engineers to different product areas.
This year’s Graduate Programme will be focused on graduates living or studying in Sweden.
During the Graduate Programme you will be in Älmhult most of the time.
